Hey Guys! I’m out in Hollywood working with an amazing band called THE DOORBELLS. I am engineering under producer Doug Boehm (Celine Dion, Katy Perry, Fall Out Boy) and we started drums today. Here are a few pictures from the session…
For all the gear heads we are working on a Neve 8088 console with flying fader automation into PTHD. Mostly using the basic drum setup mic-wise with 57s, 421s, and AKGs on overheads. Got u67s on far rooms (wowww) and the stereo Royer SF12 as close rooms — sounds crazy. Compression we are using distressors, 1176’s, LA3A’s, and console compression. — Stuff sounds great so far!

Hey Everyone!
I’m very excited to announce that I’ll be operating out of Sunset Sound Studios in Hollywood for about two weeks starting this Saturday. I’m working out of Studio 2 which is where some of the most influential records in rock history have been recorded, such as Led Zeppelin IV that contained “Rock n Roll” and “Stairway To Heaven”.
